The Winter/Spring 2011 Running Room Marathon Clinic starts on January 11 coached by Jacquie Simatovic and Carsten Rathsack. The target marathon for the clinic is the 2011 BMO Vancouver Marathon on May 1 with a large number of participants already committed to train for the Eugene Marathon on the same day. If you plan to run a marathon during the spring of 2011 on or around the beginning of May, come and join the Alma Run Club for the long runs on Sundays.

The Summer 2010 Running Room Marathon Clinic starts on June 17. The target marathon for the clinic is the 2010 Goddlife Fitness Victoria Marathon on October 10. The Victoria Marathon Society today announced that the Royal Victoria Marathon has secured a Title Sponsor. GoodLife Fitness has acquired the title rights for three years to cover the 2010, 2011 and 2012 events. The Royal Victoria Marathon will now be known as the GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon. The run database search function goes online. With the redesign of the the website to include PHP technology dynamic content has become possible and a much better encapsulation has become possible. (I know, who cares, as long as it is working!) Try the new search function. A limited amount runs has been uploaded into the database. Please, update your bookmarks and favourites.
